The Candlelight Lodge is located 33 minutes North of Birmingham and just off I-65. We are the ideal places for nature and just close enough for all your guests to stay nearby. We also have a king sized guest room for the Bride and Groom.

We're Mona and Philip Downs, the owners of Candlelight Lodge. Candlelight Lodge has been our home since 2004, the place where we raised our kids and built a lifetime of memories on these 23 acres just north of Birmingham in Hayden, Alabama. We've always believed this is God's property, and opening it up as a wedding and event venue is our way of giving back. We also believe a beautiful wedding shouldn't cost a fortune. That's why we set out to create an affordable wedding venue near Birmingham where every couple, no matter their budget, can celebrate the day they've always dreamed of. When you choose Candlelight Lodge, you're not booking a faceless venue. You're being welcomed onto land we love by a family who can't wait to share it with you.
